{Things Eternal}

If we focus on the non-eternal we sometimes miss the eternal.

Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the day-to-day things as a mom, we miss the most important of all.  Yes, tasks must be done to run the home and keep the family happy, healthy and fed.  But in all that business we call life, take more time to stop and look beyond what needs to be done or the things around you and through to the hearts of your family.

 While walking with my two littlest ones last night, them gathering flowers and I relaxing in the cool of the evening, I snapped a few quick photos on my phone.  Looking through them afterwards, the Lord prompted me with this verse, Luke 10:41, 42, "And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:  But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part which shall not be taken away from her."

Life is not in the things of this world, but in the eternal souls and hearts of our children.
From my heart to yours.

  1. Your stories touch my heart. I write faerie stories also. You, however, play them out with your precious children. So sweet and creative a mother you are. Happy Christmas. Erin Tighe of Venice, Florida.

    1. Your comment is so sweet Erin. I love to observe their play and listen to them and that is what I draw from. Thank you.
